Job summary

Paladin Security is seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator in Halifax to support our People & Culture team. You will identify, engage, and coordinate with candidates for Security Officer positions, ensuring a smooth recruitment process and a strong candidate experience.

You'll collaborate with People & Culture, Client Service Managers, and candidates, leveraging job boards, social networks, and internal databases to build a robust pipeline for current and future roles.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years in a recruitment/HR role is preferred.
• A Human Resources diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for recruitment events.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preliminary phone screenings to assess candidate fit.
• Review resumes and align with job requirements.
• Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Source candidates via job boards, social media, and internal databases.
• Maintain an active candidate pipeline for current and future hiring.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the interview process.
• Update ATS with accurate candidate information.
