Job summary

Blue Mountain Resort in Ontario is seeking a Supervisor, Security to support the Manager, Security and elevate guest and staff safety. You will oversee security tasks, enforce standards, and maintain a professional environment for exceptional service delivery.

The role requires 2+ years of Blue Mountain Resort security experience, First Aid and CPR, and valid Ontario Security and Driver's licenses, plus MS Office proficiency. It offers full-time hours with an hourly rate of CAD 25.81.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of Blue Mountain Resort Security experience.
• Must have First Aid Certification and CPR.
• Must hold a valid Ontario Security License.
• Must hold a valid Ontario Driver's License.
• Must be well-versed with MS Office.
• This role is being posted to fill a vacant position.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the development and implementation of standards of operation and policies.
• Ensures processes and procedures are in place to protect company assets from theft and/or damage. Work together with those responsible at the resort for implementing controlled access, camera monitoring and other security monitoring devices.
• Assists in training and managing the performance of Security staff.
• Keeps detailed professional reports of incidents should they ever be required for court.
• Documents and/or reviews all security incidents entered in the security incident log.
• Notifies the OPP when appropriate to ensure the safety and integrity of the Resort.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible to support the Manager, Security while ensuring the complete implementation and success of resort security. Under the leadership of the Manager, Security, the Supervisor, Security will oversee tasks, handle situations and create an environment that ensures maximum level of protection, safety and comfort of guests and staff. The Supervisor, Security will promote a professional work environment while ensuring standards and expectations for exceptional service delivery are met.
