Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Supervisor - Mobile to oversee front-line security for multiple Oshawa locations. You will conduct mobile patrols, monitor surveillance, and respond to incidents while ensuring safety of personnel and property.

The role requires a valid Ontario Security Guard Licence, a clean driving record, and eligibility to work 40+ hours weekly. A dynamic team environment offers growth and on-going training.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring.
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring.
• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada for 40+ hours per week.
• Driver’s license (G) and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mobile patrols of designated Oshawa areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor alarms and surveillance, responding to security breaches or disturbances.
• Inspect doors, windows, and access points for secure entry control.
• Engage with clients, visitors, and staff; enforce security policies.
• Document incidents, observations, and actions taken for reporting.
• Coordinate with police and emergency responders when needed.
• Maintain logs of patrols and incidents with accuracy.

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift Type: Two Week Rotation 2100-0900

Pay Rate: $18.19 - $19.19 per hour

Requirements: G License, Clean Driver's Abstract and 25 years age or above for insurance purposes.

Overview:

Allied Universal is currently hiring Security Supervisor - Mobileto provide professional, front-line security services for a various locations in the Oshawa area. As a Security Supervisor - Mobile, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the safety of personnel, property, and assets through patrols, monitoring, and incident response. This position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions:

• Conduct mobile patrols of designated areas, including parking lots, premises, and other high-traffic areas, to deter unauthorized activity and ensure the safety of personnel and property
• Monitor surveillance systems and alarms, promptly responding to any security breaches, disturbances, or suspicious activities
• Perform security checks of buildings, doors, windows, and other access points to prevent unauthorized entry and ensure compliance with security protocols
• Interact with clients, visitors, and employees, providing assistance, directions, and information as needed while enforcing security policies
• Report any security incidents, accidents, or hazards immediately to supervisors or appropriate authorities, documenting observations and actions taken
• Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and other security personnel to coordinate responses to incidents and emergencies effectively
• Maintain accurate logs and records of patrol activities, incidents, and observations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Conduct routine inspections of security equipment, vehicles, and emergency supplies, reporting any issues or deficiencies for prompt resolution
• Conduct risk assessments and security audits of client premises, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending security enhancements to mitigate risks
• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge of security procedures, emergency response protocols, and relevant regulation

Requirement:
