Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Site Supervisor for a premier commercial retail mall in Toronto West. This full-time role (Continental Days) requires leadership to supervise a security team, ensure high standards of customer service, and maintain a safe environment for tenants, retailers, and visitors.

Pay rate is $26.50-$27.00 per hour. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of supervisory security experience, strong scheduling and people-management skills, and holds a valid Ontario

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in security, preferably in a commercial retail, shopping centre, or high-profile property environment.
• Experience in employee scheduling and workforce management.
• Strong customer service and client relationship management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proven ability to lead by example while motivating and developing a high-performing team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
• Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
• Valid First Aid/CPR.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and supervision of the security team.
• Develop, manage, and maintain employee schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels while meeting operational requirements.
• Foster positive employee relations through effective communication, conflict resolution, and performance management.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members to promote continuous improvement, accountability, and professional growth.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with company policies and client expectations.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with the client, retailers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure all security personnel consistently represent the highest standards of professionalism.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and customer concerns while ensuring appropriate documentation and follow-up.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training of security personnel.
• Complete incident reports, performance documentation, and operational reports accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies, company procedures, and applicable legislation.

This position requires flexibility to support a 24/7 operation. Candidates must be available to work:
