Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Site Supervisor for a Commercial/Retail facility in Downtown Toronto. This full-time leadership role focuses on directing a security team, ensuring top-tier client service and safe, welcoming environments for tenants and visitors.

You will oversee schedules, mentor staff, conduct inspections, and coordinate with the client and contractors to meet operational requirements. Strong communication and a passion for developing people are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in security.
• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.
• Valid First Aid/CPR.
• Strong customer service and client relationship skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
• Ability to lead by example and develop a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and supervision of the security team.
• Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.

Position:Full-Time

Pay Rate:$28.00-$29.50/hour

Schedule: 0800 -1600 Monday to Friday, with flexibility for additional hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Assistwith recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training of security personnel.
• Complete incident reports, performance documentation, and operational reports accurately andin a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies, company procedures, and applicable legislation.
• Other duties as assigned

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of the duties and responsibilities of all direct and indirect reports;
• Understands property management and property security and life safety needs;
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google products;
• Knowledge and understanding of applicable federal,provincialand municipal legislation and regulationsin the area ofsecurity and life safety management; and
• Sound knowledge of industry techniques and emergent trends in security and life safety management.
• Budget and Administration:

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in the security industry, preferably in a commercialpropertyenvironment.
• Demonstrated experience in employee scheduling and workforce management.
• Strong background in employee relations, coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
• Exceptional customer service and client relationship management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proven ability to lead by example while motivating and developing a high-performing team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Proficiencywith Microsoft Office and scheduling or workforce management software.
• Valid Ontario Security GuardLicence.
• Valid First Aid/CPR.
