Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guards in Canada.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Must have resided in Canada continuously for at least 5 years.
• Valid Ontario Security Guard license.
• Standard First Aid CPR Level C certification.
• Ability to complete Use of Force training curriculum.
• Crisis Management and De-Escalation training.
• High school diploma or equivalent; at least 18 years of age.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Intermediate computer skills for operating wireless technology.
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.

Position Details

• Title: Security Supervisor
• Location: Ottawa, ON
• Type: Full-time
• Salary: $25 per hour
• Shift: Availability required - 1600-0000, 0000-0800; 24/7 coverage including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

1. Supervise and coordinate security services on-site, acting as a working member of the security shift.
2. Perform regular patrols and monitor all entry points for unauthorized access.
3. Maintain high visibility and enforce site access protocols.
4. Communicate effectively with team members and report incidents promptly.
5. Respond to emergencies, including medical, fire, or security breaches.
6. Keep accurate logs of security activities and incidents.
7. Prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access; secure property at all times.
8. Adhere to safety policies, including PPE use.
9. Address security risks and safety concerns proactively.

Physical Requirements

• Work in various outdoor conditions, including extreme weather and running as needed.
