Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guards in Canada.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Valid Ontario Security Guard license
• Standard First Aid CPR Level C
• Ability to complete Use of Force training curriculum
• Minimum of two (2) years of business operations supervisory/management experience
• Crisis Management and De-Escalation skills
• Experience in hiring, developing, motivating, and retaining staff
• Ability to develop and grow customer relationships
• Proficiency in project planning, risk management, and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including running if necessary

Job Details

• Title: Security Manager
• Location: Ottawa, ON
• Type: Full-time
• Salary: $30 per hour
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 0800 - 1600

Responsibilities

1. Manage general operations, evaluate post orders, review reports, and provide directions to supervisors.
2. Ensure security standards are met and maintained.
3. Coordinate training, enforce physical security measures, and ensure safety compliance.
4. Administer safety programs and review emergency response plans.
5. Manage projects including risk assessment and budgeting.
6. Handle escalated security issues and emergencies appropriately.
7. Develop staff through performance management and training.
8. Resolve employee grievances and maintain personnel records.
9. Communicate policies and updates regularly.
10. Meet contractual hours with minimal unbilled overtime.
11. Conduct site-specific and client training sessions.
12. Maintain client relationships through regular communication and service delivery.
13. Utilize Win Team for scheduling, payroll, billing, and reporting.
