WCB Alberta is hiring a Security Representative in Calgary to provide a secure environment and protect employees, assets and visitors. You will manage access, monitor CCTV and alarms, and support emergency responses. This role requires a security license and strong communication skills.

The position offers a competitive salary with benefits, a 6-month temporary term with potential extension, and a requirement to respond to emergencies and perform rounds across WCB facilities in Alberta.

Qualificações

• High school diploma supplemented with a certificate/diploma in Security Management.
• Government of Alberta issued Security Services & Investigators Act License.
• Knowledge of criminal law, police & security procedures, and arrest and control tactics is a plus.
• Emergency first aid is necessary; AED knowledge is an asset.
• Superior communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to perform rounds in and around buildings; respond quickly to emergencies.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds and work shifts.
• General computer skills.
• Alberta driver’s license; equivalencies may be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Operate CCTV, duress alarms, fire alarms, access control, and intrusion alarms.
• Assist with Emergency Response Plan activations.
• Monitor meetings between clients and Case Managers.
• Administer the Safe Walk Program.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide First Aid / AED as required.
• Conduct inspection patrols of facilities occupied by WCB staff.
• Book meeting rooms and AV equipment; manage key/card access records.
