Job summary

Cadillac Fairview seeks a Manager of Security to lead the security program for a high-profile mixed-use property. You will report to the Senior Manager, Security & Life Safety and oversee all security operations, compliance, budgeting, and safety initiatives.

Responsibilities include developing emergency plans, conducting drills, coordinating with tenants, and driving continuous improvement in security services while aligning with CF standards and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• College diploma in Law Enforcement and/or Security Administration.
• Minimum 5 years in a commercial real estate security environment with increasing responsibility.
• Valid First Aid, CPR and WHMIS certifications.
• Valid Provincial Security License.
• Solid knowledge of security management and EH&S regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain emergency management plans (Fire Safety, Emergency Response, Business Continuity).
• Schedule and oversee monthly emergency drills and annual fire evacuation drill.
• Maintain up-to-date emergency contact lists for staff, tenants, suppliers, authorities.
• Collaborate with tenants on emergency preparedness and response.
• Ensure security personnel are trained in relevant emergency protocols.
