Allied Universal is seeking a Security Professional - Part Time Corporate Guard in Toronto, ON. Location is Toronto, ON with shifts on Wed-Sat, 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Pay rate is $20.93 per hour.

Responsibilities include site patrolling, maintaining a visible security presence, incident reporting, threat assessment, and professional communication. Ideal candidates hold 1-2 years of security experience, a valid Ontario Security License, good customer service and communication

Qualifications

• Must have 1-2 years of security experience.
• Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to stand for long hours.
• High school diploma or GED; eligibility to work in Canada (40 hours/week).
• First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Site patrolling to monitor security threats or disturbances.
• Maintain a visible security presence to protect people and property.
• Document and report incidents accurately with detailed notes.
• Assess threat levels and advise on appropriate responses.
• Maintain professional communication with the team via email and other channels.

Shifts: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday | 9:00AM – 6:30PM, 9:00AM – 4:00PM

Overview

We are seeking responsible and reliable individuals to join our team as Security Professional - Part Time Corporate Guard at one of our Corporate sites in Toronto, ON. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills,strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-security environment.

This role plays a critical part in maintaining the safety and security of client assets, employees, and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Site Patrolling: Conduct regular patrols to monitor any security threats, disturbances, or unusual activities.
• Physical Security: Maintain a visible presence to ensure the safety of employees, assets and the environment.
• Incident Reporting: Document and report incidents accurately, ensuring all relevant details are captured for future reference and analysis.
• Threat Assessment: Evaluate situations to determine the level of risk and recommend appropriate responses.
• Professional Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication through email correspondence with team members and other stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to security across all operations.
• Emergency Response: Act swiftly in emergency situations, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.
• Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of incidents, inspections, and other relevant documentation for compliance and review.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of Security Guard
• Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
• Must have good customer service & communication skills
• Must be attentive to details
• Must be able to stand long hours
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
• First Aid and CPR
