Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guards for a part-time position in Simcoe, Ontario. The role requires guarding a facility, performing access control, patrolling, and responding to incidents.

You will maintain a professional image, manage conflicts, operate CCTV and alarm systems, and complete detailed reports. Ontario security guard license, First Aid/CPR, and a high school diploma are required. The company offers health benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Access control for the facility/area.
• Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times.
• Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate.
• Patrolling and following post orders, indoors or outdoors.
• Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site emergencies.
• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager.
• Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability in emergencies or incidents.
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills, and strong verbal/written communication.
• Operate/monitor security room equipment including CCTV cameras, radios, etc.
• Perform in-car/vehicle patrols.

Job Title: Security Guard - Part-Time Position

Job Location: Simcoe, ON

Pay Rate: $19.09 per hour

Shifts: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri & Sat (08:00-00:00 hrs), Various Shifts

Saturdays & Sundays - (12:00pm - 00:00am)

• Demonstrate goodjudgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Operate/monitor security room equipment including but not limited to computers, CCTV cameras, radio, etc.
• Perform in-car/vehicle patrols
