Allied Universal is seeking a Security Professional – Fulltime Warehouse Guard in Toronto, ON to support security operations at a manufacturing and warehousing facility. The position emphasizes controlling access at the main gate and ensuring only authorized personnel and deliveries enter the site.

The role protects assets, maintains site safety, and supports compliance in a 24/7 industrial environment. Shifts are Day Shift, 07:00–15:00, with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years Gatehouse Operations experience.
• Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
• Must be at least 18 years old for insurance purposes.
• Must have great written and oral communication skills.
• Must have knowledge of using computers and willing to work on holidays.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
• First Aid and CPR

Responsibilities

• Visibility & Coverage: Maintain high visibility at designated posts.
• Access Control: Verify IDs and log visitors.

Pay Rate: $19.15 per hour

Shifts: Monday, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri | Day Shift | 07:00 to 15:00

Overview

Allied Universal is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Security Professional – Fulltime Warehouse Guard to support security operations at a manufacturing and warehousing facility in Toronto, ON. This position is responsible for controlling access at the site’s main gate, ensuring only authorized personnel, contractors, and deliveries enter the facility.

The Security Guard plays a critical role in protecting company assets, maintaining site safety, and supporting compliance within an active industrial environment operating 24/7.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Site Surveillance & Patrol: Perform regular patrols of the site and surrounding areas to ensure the security of the premises. Monitor all entry points for unauthorized access.
• Visibility & Coverage: Maintain high visibility at the designated posts. Ensure security coverage near sensitive areas within the site.
• Access Control: Enforce site access protocols by verifying the identification of authorized personnel, logging visitor entry and exit, and ensuring that gates and doors remain securely locked when not in use.
• Communication: Maintain clear and constant communication via radio with other security personnel. Report incidents, unusual activities, or security concerns promptly.
• Emergency Response: Respond quickly and appropriately to any emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, or security breaches. Contact emergency services and assist as necessary.
• Incident Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of all security activities, incidents, and patrols. Complete shift reports and provide detailed handover notes for the next shift.
• Site & Asset Protection: Prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access to site materials and equipment. Ensure all property is secured at all times.
• Compliance with Safety Procedures: Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures on-site, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all personnel.
• General Security Duties: Ensure the overall safety and security of the site and surrounding areas by addressing any security risks or safety concerns that arise during the shift.

REQUIREMENTS
