Allied Universal is seeking a Security Professional – Fulltime Concierge Patrol in North York, ON. This role focuses on delivering visible, professional security services at a residential site, with emphasis on access control and incident response.

The position requires concierge experience in residential security, strong communication skills, and the ability to work 21:00–05:00 shifts. Eligible candidates must have a Ontario Security License and be able to work in Canada.

Qualifications

• Must have Concierge experience in Residential Security.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and wireless technology.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must have a valid Ontario Security License, eligible to work in Canada (up to 40 hours/week).
• First Aid and CPR.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Site Surveillance & Patrol with high visibility and routine checks to deter unauthorized activities.
• Access control: monitor and log visitors, delivery personnel, and contractors; manage front desk operations and CCTV as needed.
• Emergency response: act swiftly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies; coordinate with emergency services.
• Incident reporting: prepare detailed reports and maintain daily logs for handover between shifts.
• Community liaison: interact with residents and management to maintain safety and trust within the site.

Job Title: Security Professional – Fulltime Concierge Patrol

Location: North York, ON

Type: Full-time

Pay Rate: $17.60 per hour

Shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday | Overnight, 21:00 to 05:00

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Professional – Fulltime Concierge Patrol to support security operations within a residential site in North York, ON. This role serves as a first line of defense, providing a visible presence to deter crime, protect property, and ensure the safety of residents, visitors, and assets.

Security Guards in this position require experience in mobile residential security and will be responsible for monitoring access points, responding to emergencies, and delivering exceptional community-focused security services across the residential site.

Responsibilities

• Site Surveillance & Patrol: Conduct high-visibility, routine, and randomized patrols to deter theft, vandalism, car break‑ins, loitering, and other unauthorized activities and Perform perimeter and area checks, including doors, windows, gates, and common amenity areas, ensuring all areas remain secure.
• Access Control: Monitor and control access points by screening residents, visitors, delivery personnel, and contractors. Log visitor activity and enforce site access protocols to prevent unauthorized entry and manage front desk operations and monitor CCTV systems when required.
• Emergency Response: Respond immediately and appropriately to alarms, security breaches, fires, medical emergencies, and other incidents. Assist residents and coordinate with emergency services when required.
• Incident Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed incident and occurrence reports for management and law enforcement when required and maintain accurate daily activity logs documenting patrols, observations, and actions taken while providing clear handover notes to ensure continuity between shifts.
• Community Support & Liaison: Act as a liaison between residents, property management, and local authorities during incidents or investigations and maintain a professional, customer-service-oriented approach to enhance resident confidence and safety.

Requirements

• Must have Concierge experience in Residential Security.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and wireless technology.
