Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Professional - Corporate Guest Service in Mississauga, Ontario. The role focuses on maintaining a safe environment for personnel and assets at a corporate site. Previous corporate reception or front desk experience is an asset, with strong English communication and computer skills.

Shifts are Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with a pay rate of $21.00 per hour. A valid Ontario Security Guard License and legal eligibility to work in Canada are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
• Legal to work in Canada.
• Experience in corporate reception, front desk operations, concierge, hospitality, customer service, administration is an asset.
• Willing to commit to a minimum one-year assignment.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Site Surveillance & Patrol:Perform regular patrols of the site and surrounding areas to ensure the security of the premises. Monitor all entry points for unauthorized access.
• Visibility & Coverage:Maintain high visibility at the designated posts. Ensure security coverage near sensitive areas within the site.
• Access Control:Enforce site access protocols by verifying the identification of authorized personnel, logging visitor entry and exit, and ensuring that gates and doors remain securely locked when not in use.
• Communication:Maintain clear and constant communication via radio with other security personnel. Report incidents, unusual activities, or security concerns promptly.
• Emergency Response:Respond quickly and appropriately to any emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, or security breaches. Contact emergency services and assist as necessary.
• Incident Documentation:Maintain accurate logs of all security activities, incidents, and patrols. Complete shift reports and provide detailed handover notes for the next shift.
• Site & Asset Protection:Prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access to site materials and equipment. Ensure all property is secured at all times.
• Compliance with Safety Procedures:Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures on-site, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all personnel.
• General Security Duties:Ensure the overall safety and security of the site and surrounding areas by addressing any security risks or safety concerns that arise during the shift.

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License (Required).
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Recent graduates and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in corporate reception, front desk operations, concierge, hospitality, customer service, administration, access control, or visitor management is an asset.
• Ability to commit to a minimum one-year assignment.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, basic Excel/data entry, and digital logging/reporting systems.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills suitable for a corporate executive office environment.
• Clear, confident, and professional speaking ability for phone, email, and visitor-facing communication.
• Polished corporate presentation, strong customer-service demeanor, and professional appearance.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, sound judgment, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
