Job summary

Commissionaires BC is seeking a Permanent Casual Security Officer to perform patrols and access control at a Government site in Vancouver. This role operates on a Saturday-Sunday rotation from 07:00 to 15:00, offering a starting pay of $22.17 per hour.

You’ll respond to emergencies, verify visitors, and follow established protocols to ensure site safety. The successful candidate will hold a BC Security Licence, OFA 1 certification, and demonstrate excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Valid BC Security Licence is required.
• Must have resided in Canada for at least 5 years due to clearance requirements.
• OFA 1 certificate is required.
• Excellent English oral and written skills.

• Following specific emergency and alarm response protocols.

Your Must Haves …

• Valid BC Security License
• Have lived in Canada for a minimum of 5 years due to clearance requirements
• OFA 1 certificate
• Excellent English oral and written skills
