Job summary

YUASNI TIPI FAMILY TREATMENT CENTRE – PAGC is actively seeking a casual Security Worker. This role ensures the highest safety and security standards for the Inpatient Treatment Centre and families, in alignment with PAGC policies.

Responsibilities include monitoring alarms, patrolling, incident reporting and providing a calm, supportive presence during emergencies. A driver’s license and two years’ experience are required, with willingness to engage in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English required.
• First Nations language knowledge is an asset.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with video monitoring tech and safety protocols.
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of families, personnel and property.
• Monitor surveillance and alarms; protect property.
• Patrol areas and perform security checks.
• Develop and implement procedures for reporting.
• Respond calmly to emergencies and guide people to safety.

Skills

Fluency in English

Indigenous language knowledge

Ability to work with minimum supervise

Excellent written and verbal comms

Valid Saskatchewan driver’s license

Education

Two years sobriety/abstainer (policy)

Two years work experience
