Job summary

Walmart Canada in Thornhill, ON is seeking an Asset Protection Associate to help maintain a safe, secure store environment for customers, associates and vendors, and to prevent shrink while supporting store profitability.

You will conduct daily patrols, assist investigations, support emergency procedures, and cooperate with leadership to communicate findings and ensure a high-quality shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Age - 16 or older
• License - Security Guard License

Responsibilities

• Store Security and Loss Prevention: Conducts daily patrols of the store to help ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Investigations and Case Support: Investigates incidents of shrink and communicates findings to Store Leadership; escalates for internal investigations as required.
• Emergency Response and Store Support: Supports store evacuation and emergency procedures during incidents.
• Enforcement and External Apprehensions: Carries out external apprehensions when required, in compliance with policies and law.
• Communication and Reporting: Gathers and communicates information from multiple sources to leadership and stakeholders.
