Job summary

Walmart Canada in Bowmanville is hiring an Asset Protection Associate to help maintain a safe, secure store environment for customers, associates, visitors and vendors. You will follow Asset Protection standards to prevent loss, reduce shrink and support store profitability.

Responsibilities include daily store patrols, investigations of shrink, emergency response support, and clear communication with leadership.

Qualifications

• Age - 16 or older.
• License - Security Guard License

Responsibilities

• Store Security and Loss Prevention: Conducts daily patrols of the store to help ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Investigations and Case Support: Investigates incidents of shrink and communicates findings to Store Leadership.
• Emergency Response and Store Support: Supports store evacuation and emergency procedures.
• Enforcement and External Apprehensions: Carries out external apprehensions when required.
• Communication and Reporting: Gathers and communicates information from multiple sources to leadership and stakeholders.
• Additional Duties: Completes additional responsibilities to support evolving Asset Protection priorities.
• Flexibility: Be open to working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
