Job summary

Allied Universal in London, ON is seeking a Security Professional - Casual to provide frontline security services. The role emphasizes access control, customer service, and a professional presence, including night shifts and 24/7 coverage.

You will monitor the facility, conduct patrols, and respond to incidents per site procedures. Applicants must hold a valid Ontario security guard license, First Aid/CPR, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm.
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Valid Ontario security guard license.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada for 24 hours per week.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certificate is a must.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the facility/store area.
• Maintain a polished, professional, and customer-friendly presence at all times.
• Handle conflicts, incidents, and difficult situations using effective de-escalation skills.
• Conduct indoor and outdoor patrols while following site protocols and post orders, including monitoring customer and guest movement throughout the property.
• Ensure all safety and emergency procedures are followed during fire alarms and other site emergencies.
• Complete all site-specific training and follow guidance provided by the Site Supervisor or Manager.
• Demonstrate sound judgment, professionalism, and decision-making skills during emergencies and incidents.
• Maintain accurate records, complete incident reports, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Operate and monitor security systems, CCTV equipment, and complete all required training programs.

Pay Rate: $18.75 per hour

Shifts: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat.

*Wide availability is required for various shifts*

Overview:
