Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Professional Security Guard - Full Time in London, ON Canada. The role requires a valid Ontario security guard license, a Full G driver’s license, and the ability to work up to 40 hours per week. Duties include access control, patrols, incident response, and reporting with strong communication skills.

Shifts vary (7:00-15:00, 15:00-23:00, 23:00-07:00) across days of week. Benefits include health/dental coverage and paid training.

Qualifications

• Must hold Ontario security guard license.
• Must have a valid Full G driver’s license.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours per week.
• First Aid and CPR - Level C.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide access control for the facility/area.
• Present a professional image at all times.
• Manage conflicts and incidents and deescalate when needed.
• Patrol indoor and outdoor areas and follow post orders.
• Ensure safety procedures and fire alarm responses are followed.
• Undertake site-specific training and follow supervisor directions.
• Operate security room equipment (CCTV, radios, computers).
• Perform in-car/vehicle patrols.

Shifts

Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri and Sat; Various Shifts; (7:00-1500, 15:00-23:00, 23:00-07:00) - Rotational Shifts

Requirement

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm .
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Valid Ontario security guard license
• Valid Full G Driver's License
• Must be eligible to work in Canada upto 40 hours per week.
• First Aid and CPR - Level C
• Must be at least 25 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience

Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions

• Access control for the facility/area
• Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
• Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate
• Patrolling and following protocols as per the post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols, etc.
• Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
• Demonstrate goodjudgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Operate/monitor security room equipment including but not limited to computers, CCTV cameras, radio, etc.
• Perform in-car/vehicle patrols
