Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Professional Security Guard - Full Time for London, ON. The role involves protecting the facility, monitoring access, and maintaining a safe environment.

You will work varied shifts (including weekends) and use CCTV, reporting, and incident response skills to ensure client satisfaction and site security. Ontario license and valid G license are required.

Qualifications

• Ontario security guard license is required.
• Full G driver’s license is required.
• Eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours per week.
• First Aid and CPR - Level C required.
• Must be at least 25 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage access control for the facility or area.
• Present a polished, professional image to clients and guests.
• De-escalate conflicts and incidents effectively.
• Patrol indoors and outdoors per post orders.
• Follow safety and emergency procedures during alarms or incidents.
• Document reports clearly and timely for site supervisor.
• Operate CCTV and security room equipment as needed.
• Perform in-car/vehicle patrols.

Allied Universal is seeking a Professional Security Guard - Full Time in London , ON Canada.

Job Title: Security Guard - Full Time

Job Location: London , ON

Pay Rate: $22.08 per hour

Shifts: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri and Sat; Various Shifts; (7:00-1500, 15:00-23:00, 23:00-07:00) - Rotational Shifts

Requirement:

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm .
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Valid Ontario security guard license
• Valid Full G Driver's License
• Must be eligible to work in Canada upto 40 hours per week.
• First Aid and CPR - Level C
• Must be at least 25 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience

Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions :

• Access control for the facility/area
• Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
• Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate
• Patrolling and following protocols as per the post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols, etc.
• Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
• Demonstrate goodjudgment, common sense and decision‑making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Operate/monitor security room equipment including but not limited to computers, CCTV cameras, radio, etc.
• Perform in-car/vehicle patrols
