Allied Universal is hiring Security Professionals in London, ON to provide professional, front-line security services. The role requires strong customer service, a professional demeanor, and teamwork.

The position offers day shifts Monday to Friday, with a pay rate of $18.75 CAD per hour. Candidates must hold an Ontario security guard license, First Aid and CPR, and be eligible to work in Canada full-time (40 hours/week).

Qualifications

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm systems.
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Valid Ontario security guard license.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada for 40 hours per week.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certificate.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the facility/store area.
• Maintain a polished, professional, and customer-friendly presence at all times.
• Handle conflicts, incidents, and difficult situations using effective de-escalation skills.
• Conduct indoor and outdoor patrols while following site protocols and post orders.
• Monitor customer and guest movement throughout the property.
• Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed during fire alarms and site emergencies.
• Complete all site-specific training and follow guidance from the Site Supervisor or Manager.
• Demonstrate sound judgment, professionalism, and decision-making during emergencies and incidents.
• Maintain accurate records and complete incident reports; communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Operate and monitor security systems, CCTV equipment, and complete all required training programs.
