Job summary

Commissionaires BC is seeking a security guard to work at the City of Richmond site for a 4-month temporary full-time or casual position. Shifts are 2200–0600, Monday to Friday and Saturday–Sunday. Payrate is $25.55/hr, with health and dental benefits and free uniforms.

Responsibilities include customer service, patrols, emergency protocols, access control, event security, and site checks. Must have BC Security Licence, First Aid, and a Class 5 Driver’s Licence; fluent English required.

Qualifications

• Valid BC Security Licence is required.
• Basic First Aid Certificate required.
• Class 5 Driver's Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service by greeting customers and acting as a liaison between the site and the public.
• Keeps site clean, tidy and a safe environment for all.
• Conducts scheduled and unscheduled security patrols, including checkpoint tours.
• Follows specific emergency and alarm response protocols.
• Performs facility lockup and unlock services.
• Conducts site checks and inspections.
• Monitors and supervises City facilities and property.
• Performs access control and visitor verification.
• Provides security support for City events.
• Performs other security related duties as requested.

• Saturday & Sunday 2200 - 0600

Payrate:

$25.55/hr
