What You'll Do

As a professional Security Guard, you'll safeguard people, places, and assets at some of Canada's most important institutions. Positions include:

• Access Control Officers
• Security Control Room Operators
• Dispatchers

This isn't a one-size-fits-all job, you'll work in dynamic environments, mastering real-world problem-solving and communication skills that go beyond the desk.

• Availability for rotating shifts (days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
• Two pieces ofvalid Canadian government-issued photo ID (excluding health cards)

Nice to Haves

• Availability for rotating shifts (days, with focus on evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance from PSPC
• Two pieces of valid Canadian government-issued photo ID (excluding health cards). IDs are necessary to initiate your security clearance applications, as well as obtain your provincial security guard licence
• Valid provincial Security Guard Licence
• Use of Force Certification
• Veteran status or Police Foundations Program
