Securitas Canada Limited in Airdrie, AB, is seeking a part-time Security Guard for Fridays and Saturdays (2300–0700). The position requires a valid Alberta Security License, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation to the Airdrie site.

Compensation is $18.00 per hour, with benefits including training and uniform. The role focuses on observing and reporting activities, patrolling, controlling access, and maintaining safety for client property and personnel.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site.
• Makes periodic patrols to check protection devices and fire control equipment.
• Preserves order and enforces site regulations.
• Controls access to client sites through the admittance process.
• Patrols sites on foot or in vehicles, checks for hazards and violations.
• Provides excellent customer service while minimizing risk.
• Monitors intrusion detection systems.
• Use computer systems to monitor sites and complete basic training.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident in emergencies.

We are seeking Part-Time Security Guard for the Airdrie area.

Shifts

• Friday & Saturday: 2300 to 0700

Pay Rate

• $18.00 per hour

Requirements

• Must hold a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
• Must have a reliable vehicle, as the work location is in Airdrie.
• Must possess a valid Alberta Security License.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property, its assets, and personnel.
• Makes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.
• Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
• Controls access to client sites or facility through the admittance process.
• Patrols assigned sites on foot or in vehicles; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized people.
• Satisfies client needs by providing excellent customer service while minimizing risk to the client's property and assets.
• Monitors intrusion detection systems using automated alarm and video monitoring software.
• Use computer systems and software to monitor sites and complete basic training.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid provincial Security Guard License
• Working knowledge of security operations and procedures
• Excellent organizational skills
• Able to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports.
• Basic computer skills such as the ability to use Microsoft Office.
• Able to walk, stand, and conduct patrols.
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
• First Aid/ CPR is considered an asset.
