Security Guard Group Limited is seeking Part-Time Security Guards to join our growing team in Toronto, Ontario. In this general sitesecurity role, you will help maintain a safe, professional environmentfor clients.
This role offers the opportunity to transition into a full-time position based on performance, availability, and operational needs. We are looking for an individual who demonstratesprofessionalism, reliability, and flexibility in their availabilityfor days, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts. Key Responsibilities:
Monitor surveillance systems and accesspoints; control entry to premises as required.
Report writing – document dailyactivities and incidents with clear, detailed reports.
Respond promptly and calmly to alarms,emergencies, or incidents, following established procedures.
Maintain aprofessionalpresence at all times – uphold SecurityGuard Group’s standards of conduct and appearance whendealing with clients, visitors, and the public.
Collaborate with law enforcement oremergency services during incidents when necessary, andcommunicate effectively with the client and Security GuardGroup supervisors.
Valid Ontario Security Guard License (required by law)– candidates must already hold this license; we do not provide sponsorship.
First Aid and CPR certification from a WSIB-approved provider(must be current).
Legally entitled to work in Canada, with a clear criminalrecord (as requiredfor security licensing).
Availability for part-time, on-call shifts - 12 hour shifts,including days, overnights, and weekends.
Ability to use a smartphone (iOS/Android) with internetaccess for work purposes (clock-ins, incident reporting, etc.).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English – able to interact with the public courteously and writeincident reports clearly.
Strong observational skills and attention to detail,with the ability to stay alert and responsive during periods of low activity.
Professionalism and punctuality – must be trustworthy, arriveon time for all shifts, and present a tidy, uniformed appearance inaccordance with company standards.
Previous security experience or training is an asset (e.Former security, law enforcement, or customer service experience),but not strictly required. We value a positive attitude andwillingness to learn.
Personal Vehicle Required- to be used as source of shelter on site
