Job summary

Commissionaires BC is seeking a reliable Mobile Security Guard to service multiple client sites in a dynamic environment. You will operate a patrol vehicle, perform security checks, and respond to alarms while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and accountability.

The role requires a valid BC Security License, Class 5 BC Driver’s license, a clean driving record, and excellent English communication. Rotation includes Sunday and Monday nights (23:00–07:00).

Qualifications

• Must have valid BC Security License.
• Must hold a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s license.
• Clean driver’s abstract required.
• Fluent English; excellent written and verbal skills.
• Positive attitude with professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and incident reporting abilities.
• Strong problem solving and calm emergency response.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating a Mobile Patrol motor vehicle in accordance with laws and regulations.
• Conducting security checks at client sites per directives and post orders.
• Utilize company cell phones and Tracktik phone app.
• Responding to alarm incidents at client sites as needed.
• Conducting House Watch patrols if required.
• Attending lone worker sites to check on workers when requested.
• Completing incident and shift reports (Run Sheets, Vehicle Inspections, Tracktik, Alarm, Inventory).
• Reporting for shifts on time and maintaining professional dress and deportment.
• Reporting unsafe incidents and issues promptly.
• Performing vehicle checks at shift start and reporting issues.
• Maintaining equipment and key control; keeping vehicles clean.
• Demonstrating high work ethic and professionalism; promoting respectful workplace.
• Keeping management informed of unusual incidents.

Job description

Commissionaires BC is looking for a reliable, professional, and responsive Mobile Security Guard to service multiple client services. This roles requires the safe operations of a patrol vehicle, strong observations kills, and the ability to respond effectively to alarms incidents, and client requests. The selected candidate is expected to maintain a high standard of professionalism, accountability, and work ethic while working independently in a dynamic environment.

Rotation:

• Sunday and Monday 2300-0700

Pay rate: $23.00 / hour

Must have valid Class 5 BC Driver's License

Your Must-Haves:

• Hold a valid BC Security License
• Hold a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s license
• Have a clean driver’s abstract
• Fluent English; excellent written and verbal skills
• Positive attitude with professional demeanor and strong interpersonal/customer service skills
• Excellent attention to detail to fulfill job duties and incident report writing
• Excellent problem solving skills and ability to handle emergency situations in a calm and professional manner
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in varying situations
• Basic to intermediate computer skills

Your Nice-To-Haves:

• Experience in a similar role
• Basic First Aid (Occupational First Aid Level 1)
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearances

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintaining high standard of work ethic and professionalism;
• Promoting a respectful workplace by displaying a courteous, professional attitude;
• Keeping management aware of any unusual incidents;
