Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a professional Security Guard to join our Winnipeg, MB operations. The role focuses on access control, routine patrols, monitoring CCTV, and documenting daily activity to ensure safety and security across the site.

The ideal candidate will have strong English communication, a Manitoba security guard license, First Aid/CPR, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

Job Description

Allied Universal is seeking professional and highly motivated Security Guard to join our Security Operations team in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, thrive in fast paced operational environments, and are committed to delivering exceptional security services. The successful candidate core duties include controlling site access, conducting routine perimeter patrols, monitoring digital surveillance systems, checking for safety or fire hazards, and documenting daily activity logs

Position Details:

Title: Security Guard

Location: Winnipeg, MB

Employment Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.75 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday 1430 - 2130

Number of positions: 1

Key Responsibilities:

• Access control for the facility/area
• Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
• Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
• Demonstrate goodjudgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Operate/monitor security room equipment, Completion of site required training
• Vehicle Gate and Console duties
