Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard - Full Time - Days in Oshawa, Ontario. The role emphasizes constant surveillance, protection, and a visible security presence at the client site, with shifts from 9:00 to 21:00.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in security, a valid Ontario Security License, and a commitment to safety. Training, background checks, and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in the security sector.
• Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Familiar with operating technology and wireless comms at client sites.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• First Aid and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Incident reporting: document and report incidents accurately.
• Maintain a visible security presence at the client site.
• Threat assessment and appropriate response recommendations.
• Professional email communications with team and stakeholders.
• Assist customers and staff with directions and safety questions.
• Emergency response coordination with law enforcement and services.
• Documentation and logs for compliance and review.
