Allied Universal in Kamloops, British Columbia, is hiring a Security Guard for a high-profile data centre. This casual role covers 24/7 security operations, including screening, access control, patrols, and surveillance.

Shifts are 0700-1500, 1500-2300, and 2300-0700, seven days a week, with 2 vacancies. Requirements include a BC Security Guard License, strong communication, and the ability to report incidents clearly and promptly.

Qualificações

Overview:

We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Security Guard at High Profile - Secure Data Centre to join our team in Kamloops, British Columbia. This position involves providing security and monitoring services 24/7, with a focus on maintaining a safe and secure environment for all personnel and assets. Provide professional security services across multiple posts within a high-volume at distribution facility, including Screening SP,access control, patrol, and surveillance operations.

Main Responsibilities

• Minimum of 2 years of Security Guard experience is required.
• Experience working at high-profile commercial
• Experience with access control systems, CCTV monitoring, and incident management.
• Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.
• Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols of the property.
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter unauthorized activity, theft, vandalism, and other security concerns.
• Monitor CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and other security technologies.
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and calls for service.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assistance to tenants, residents, visitors, and contractors.
• Enforce property rules, regulations, and site-specific procedures.
• Assist with access control and visitor management as required.
• Investigate and document incidents, accidents, and unusual occurrences.
• Identify and report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, and security vulnerabilities.
• Support emergency response procedures and coordinate with emergency services when required.
• Complete accurate reports, logs, and electronic documentation in a timely manner.
• Work collaboratively with property management and other stakeholders to maintain a safe and professional environment.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Valid BC Security Guard License.
