Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking Security Professionals in Sudbury, ON to provide professional, front-line security services. This role requires strong customer service, night shifts, and a professional demeanor as part of a dynamic team.

Candidates must hold an Ontario security guard license, be 18+, and have a high school diploma or GED. Eligible to work in Canada for up to 24 hours per week; First Aid/CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the facility/store area.
• Maintain a polished, professional, and customer‑friendly presence at all times.
• Handle conflicts and incidents with de‑escalation skills.
• Conduct indoor and outdoor patrols following site protocols and post orders.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed during fire alarms and emergencies.
• Complete site-specific training and follow guidance from the Site Supervisor or Manager.
• Demonstrate sound judgment and professionalism during emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records and complete incident reports.
• Operate and monitor security systems and CCTV equipment.

Job Title: Security Professional - Casual

Job Location: Sudbury , ON

Pay Rate: $22.68 per hour

Strong and flexible availability across all shifts, including mornings, afternoons, overnights, and weekends required.

Requirement:

• Valid Ontario security guard license
• Must be eligible to work in Canada for upto 24 hours per week.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certificate.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience

Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions :

• Monitor and control access to the facility/store area.
• Maintain a polished, professional, and customer-friendly presence at all times.
• Handle conflicts, incidents, and difficult situations using effective de-escalation skills.
• Conduct indoor and outdoor patrols while following site protocols and post orders, including monitoring customer and guest movement throughout the property.
• Ensure all safety and emergency procedures are followed during fire alarms and other site emergencies.
• Complete all site-specific training and follow guidance provided by the Site Supervisor or Manager.
• Demonstrate sound judgment, professionalism, and decision‑making skills during emergencies and incidents.
• Maintain accurate records, complete incident reports, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Operate and monitor security systems, CCTV equipment, and complete all required training programs.
