Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guards for overnight shifts in Milton, Ontario. The role focuses on access control, surveillance, and prompt incident response within a customer‑facing environment.

The position requires a valid Ontario security guard license, high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work Saturdays and Sundays 19:00–07:00. This full background‑checked role offers benefits and paid training.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm.
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Valid Ontario security guard license
• Must be eligible to work in Canada upto 40 hours per week.
• First Aid and CPR - Level C
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

• Access control for the facility/area
• Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
• Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate
• Patrolling and following protocols as per the post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols, etc.
• Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
• Demonstrate goodjudgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Operate/monitor security room equipment including but not limited to computers, CCTV cameras, radio, etc.
• Perform in-car/vehicle patrols

Job Location: Milton , ON

Pay Rate: $18.29 per hour

Shifts: Part Time : Saturday Sunday 1900-0700 | Evenings to Mornings

Requirement:
