CAMH is seeking one Casual Security Guard 2 to join the Security Services department. This role offers an excellent opportunity for those starting a career in law enforcement, with above-average salary, benefits, and potential for full-time placement.
Reporting to the Supervisor of Security Services, responsibilities include:
The position involves shift rotation (day, evening, night) and weekend work, requiring minimum availability. All security and safety procedures must be maintained, with a focus on protecting life and property.
Effective communication, tactful interaction with the public and staff, positive service orientation, sensitivity towards mental health and addictions clients, ability to work independently, problem-solve, and exercise good judgment. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook) and physical capability are required. Bilingualism (French/English) or additional languages are assets.
