Qualifications

  • Provide continuous interior and perimeter surveillance through observation and documentation
  • Maintain key control and personal alarm systems
  • Conduct routine security checks of unit perimeters and safety equipment
  • Conduct person searches and unit searches for security screening or incident investigation
  • Support investigations through accurate observation, reporting, and documentation
  • Respond to emergencies calmly and effectively in accordance with procedures
  • Assist in managing incidents while maintaining safety
  • Apply fire safety, emergency response, and hazardous materials awareness practices
  • Complete accurate security documentation and reports
  • Communicate effectively with staff, patients, visitors, and team members
  • Demonstrate professionalism and sensitivity when interacting with individuals experiencing mental health challenges
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Salary Range: $24.76 – $30.52 per hour
