Working as part of an inter-professional team, the RN is responsible for comprehensive assessment, care planning, intervention, evaluation, safety, education, and collaboration to support recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and culturally competent care.
Job Description The Registered Nurse provides client-centered psychiatric and general nursing care to individuals with complex mental health, addiction, forensic, geriatric, and concurrent disorder needs. Working as part of an inter-professional team, the RN is responsible for comprehensive assessment, care planning, intervention, evaluation, safety, education, and collaboration to support recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and culturally competent care. To perform this role effectively, the Registered Nurse must demonstrate the competencies necessary to deliver safe, high-quality care within a dynamic clinical environment and enhance the nurse's ability to contribute to specialized populations, programming, and system-level initiatives.
Salary Range: $41.15 – $58.98 per hour
At time of hire, CAMH will require all new hires and rehires to provide proof of educational qualifications relevant to the position they hold with CAMH and as required by the specifications in the job posting, in accordance with policies
AHR 3.1.3 Recruitment and Selection and AHR 3.1.15 Credentialing of Professional Personnel.
Internal transfers** will be required to provide proof of educational qualifications for any additional qualifications relevant to their new position.
