Job summary

Terroni Group in downtown Toronto (Terroni Adelaide) is seeking part-time Security Guards to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Security, you will monitor entrances and the 3-story, 500-seat restaurant to keep guests and staff safe.

Shifts are predominantly at night, including weekends and statutory holidays. The ideal candidate holds a valid CPR/First Aid certificate and a valid Smart Serve certificate, communicates clearly, and presents a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Valid CPR / First Aid Certificate.
• Valid Smart Serve Certificate.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Restaurant / hospitality experience an asset.
• Well groomed and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrances and the three-story, 500-seat restaurant to ensure guest and staff safety.
• Provide excellent customer service by liaising with guests and management.
• Shifts are predominantly at night, including weekends and statutory holidays in a fast-paced environment.

Gruppo Terroni is seeking part-time Security Guards to join our team at the Terroni Adelaide location in downtown Toronto. Our family run business has now grown over the years into a multi-faceted operation encompassing restaurants, bakeries, commissaries and retail in Toronto and Los Angeles, operating under the brands Terroni, Sud Forno, Spaccio, Cavinona Wine Agency and La Bottega di Terroni online shop.

Description of Role:

Reporting to the Head of Security, Gruppo Terroni your primary responsibility will be to monitor the entrances and the physical 3 story, 500 seat restaurant to ensure the safety of our guests and employees. You will also provide an excellent customer service experience by liaising with our restaurant guests and management team. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast paced environment, interacting with guests and brings a positive and professional work ethic. Shifts for this position are predominantly at night, including weekends and statutory holidays.
