Job summary

Paladin Security is seeking an Industrial Security Officer who stays calm under pressure while delivering exceptional customer service. The role involves patrolling industrial sites, monitoring CCTV, and managing access control with a focus on safety and clear incident reporting.

Ideal candidates hold a BC Security Licence and First Aid/CPR certification, are eligible to work in Canada, and can travel to Ashcroft. Remote work options are available with travel to Ashcroft as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Patrol industrial sites and warehouses regularly to deter hazards and ensure security.
• Monitor CCTV systems and manage access passes for authorized entry.
• Write detailed incident reports and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
• Provide first aid response when required and maintain safety standards on-site.

Job description

Calm, cool, and collected. As an Industrial Security Officer, you know how to remain this way while working under pressure. You provide exceptional customer service skills and always do so with a friendly smile. You also utilize PPE and write detailed incident reports thanks to your excellent written communication skills.

We are currently hiring individuals who are interested in remote work, and are willing to travel to Ashcroft. Successful candidates with a valid BC Security License can start immediately!

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Working at industrial sites and warehouses can present many hazards and obstacles. Your ability to anticipate and quickly address these inquiries is an exciting aspect you love about your position. Along with patrolling the facility regularly, your outstanding attention to detail ensures all entries to secure areas are authorized through effective access control and access pass management. You will also monitor CCTV systems, conduct foot and vehicle patrols, perform life safety systems checks, deter trespassers, and provide first aid response when required.

YOU’RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:

• Provide exceptional customer service, with an exceptional smile.
• Are comfortable standing or being outdoors for long periods of time. Don’t worry, our sleek jackets will keep you warm.
• Hold a valid First Aid/CPR certification or are willing to obtain one. We take safety seriously, and we know you do too.
• Are eligible to work in Canada.
• Are comfortable using technology and are able to use a smartphone and computer.
• Have prior experience and a valid security license, which are considered an asset.

All our Officers are required to carry a valid Security License.
