Security Engineer - Microsoft Sentinel

Cyderes (Cyber Defense and Response) is a full-cycle cybersecurity services provider specializing in managed security services, identity and access management, and professional services for enterprise clients. We operate globally with centers in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and India.

About the Role: Security Engineers will meet and exceed client expectations by supporting and developing the Microsoft Sentinel SIEM service. This includes onboarding, configuration, and ensuring clients stay ahead of emerging security threats.

Responsibilities:

• Design, analyze, implement, and support security technologies
• Research and develop cybersecurity solutions
• Update security policies, architectures, and standards
• Respond to audits, penetration tests, and vulnerability assessments
• Research threat landscape, develop IR actions, investigation strategies, and tooling

Requirements:

• Extensive experience with Microsoft Sentinel and KQL
• Ability to ensure alerts are relevant to client environments
• Liaise with clients for new use cases
• Create LogicApps and automate responses for security incidents
• Experience with Microsoft Security Suite products (Endpoint, Identity, Purview, CloudApp, EASM, Mail 365)
• Understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework
• Experience working within an MSSP environment
• Microsoft Certification such as SC-200
