Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee IT projects within a highly secure environment. The role requires Canadian citizenship with 10 years of verifiable history on Canadian soil and a valid security clearance.

The successful candidate will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage schedules, risks, and stakeholder communications to deliver complex projects on time. Initially, the position is onsite at a client location in Ottawa, Ontario, with potential for 2-3 days

Qualifications

• 6+ years of project management or IT delivery experience.
• Must be a Canadian citizen with 10 years verifiable history on Canadian soil.
• Experience coordinating complex IT projects and multiple technical teams.
• Strong planning, scheduling, risk/issue/change management, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Security clearance with the Canadian government is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage IT projects from initiation through completion.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Coordinate activities across technical teams, operations, vendors, and client stakeholders.
• Track progress and ensure alignment with timelines, scope, and priorities.
• Identify, document, track, and communicate risks, issues, dependencies, and actions.
• Facilitate meetings, status updates, and stakeholder discussions.
• Prepare and communicate project status updates, notes, and action items.
• Monitor commitments and follow up to ensure deliverables are completed.
• Support resource planning and coordinate requirements across teams.
• Manage changes to scope, schedule, and priorities with stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure accuracy and currency.
