Overview

We are a global leader in Managed Detection and Response (MDR), providing monitoring and incident response services for an international clientele. As part of our ongoing growth, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Security Automation Specialist who is dedicated to cybersecurity and automation, with a strong background in software development.
You will play a key role in enhancing our security products, ensuring effective system integration, and contributing to the automation of our processes.
What You Will Do

  • Develop and optimize our internal security products to improve incident detection and response capabilities;
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated workflows to streamline SOC processes;
  • Collaborate with SOC teams and other stakeholders to identify priority use cases and adapt automation accordingly;
  • Integrate various security tools and external APIs into existing security systems;
  • Maintain and develop Python code for automation and backend integrations;
  • Configure REST API calls to third-party services;
  • Ensure comprehensive and accurate documentation of the automation development;
  • Perform technology watch activities to identify new optimization opportunities.

What You Bring To The Role

  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux environments;
  • Excellent understanding of networks (firewall, TCP/IP, etc.);
  • Experience with servers and authentication systems;
  • Practical experience in a SOC (an asset);
  • Knowledge in Red Team and Threat Hunting (an asset);
  • SOAR implementation, optimization, and management (an asset);
  • SIEM configuration and integration with SOAR (an asset);
  • Proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming;
  • Experience with REST APIs and their integration into automated systems;
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD);
  • Knowledge of AWS (Lambda, Step Functions, RDS / PostgreSQL, S3, etc.);
  • Experience with test automation (unit and integration);
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and French to serve clients in Quebec and Ontario.
