Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of supervisor experience.

• Must have lived in Canada for at least 5 years for clearance.
• Class 5 Driver's License with clean abstract.
• Previous CCTV Monitoring experience.
• Demonstrated interest in serving the public.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and office equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Physically able to stand long periods and patrol interior areas.
• Fluent English in writing, speaking, and reading.

Responsibilities

• CCTV Monitoring and site surveillance.
• Run reports and update systems as required.
• Answer and direct phone inquiries.
• Maintain Post Orders and Site Safety, Risk, and QA assessments.
• Submit reports, time sheets, and staff evaluations by deadlines.
• Assist with training and scheduling of Commissionaires.
• Lead through empowerment; monitor morale, discipline, and progress.
• Ensure professional conduct, dress, and deportment of the team.
• Report to site supervisor and operations management for duties.
• Interior and exterior patrolling.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Second in Command (Assistant Supervisor) for a high profile client in Chilliwack. It will be a 6 month contract.

The position will see you working Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm

Payrate: $25.61/hour

Deadline to apply: October 16 at 3pm

Your key responsibilities include…

• - CCTV Monitoring
• - Running reports and updating systems are required
• - Answering and directing phone enquiries
• - Maintain up-to-date Post Orders and Site Safety, Risk, and Quality Assurance assessments
• - Submit reports, time sheets, and staff evaluations as per deadlines
• - Assist with training and scheduling of Commissionaires
• - Leading through empowerment, and monitoring staff morale, discipline, and progress
• - Ensure team maintains a professional standard of conduct, dress and deportment
• - Reporting to the site supervisor and operations management for further duties as necessary
• - Interior and exterior patrolling

Your Must-Haves:

• - A minimum 2-3 years Supervisor experience
• - Over 5+ Years security experience
• - Valid BC Security License
• - Have been living in Canada for a minimum of 5 years for clearance purposes
• - Class 5 Drivers License and clean Drivers Abstract
• - Previous CCTV Monitoring experience
• - Demonstrated interest and experience in serving the public
• - Positive and professional attitude, with strong customer service skills
• - Proficient with Microsoft Office, and equipment such as faxes and photocopiers
• - Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• - Ability to handle emergency situations in a calm and professional manner
• - Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
• - Physically able to stand for long periods and conduct extensive interior patrols of floors and stairwells
• - Fluent English written, verbal and reading skills
