Position: Security Architect – Dynamics 365 ERP

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 3 Months

Overview:

We’re seeking a Security Architect to support a Dynamics 365 ERP implementation. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the client’s security team and other project workstreams to define, document, and help configure essential security controls. You’ll lead the security workstream and provide guidance to an offshore Security SME.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the security workstream for a Dynamics 365 ERP implementation.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to define business and security requirements.
• Conduct up to six (6) workshops/interviews with client security stakeholders, covering:

1. Business & Security Requirements

• Review existing policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
• Identify key stakeholders and approval processes.
• Assess data governance and privacy requirements.
• Identify and document any existing security gaps.

2. Identity & Access Management

• Develop Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) models.
• Define security groups and user roles, including custom roles.
• Map personas to access requirements.
• Review current Conditional Access and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) configurations.

3. Data Access & Protection

• Gather encryption and data protection requirements.
• Discuss key, secret, and certificate management (e.g., Azure Key Vault).
• Explore data encryption, tokenization, masking, and anonymization strategies.

4. Security Monitoring

• Define security logging requirements.
• Design integration with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems.

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in security architecture for ERP systems, especially Dynamics 365.
• Strong understanding of IAM, data protection, and security monitoring.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to lead remote teams and collaborate across time zones.
