Job summary

Blue Mountain Resort is seeking a part-time Security Agent to ensure the safety of guests, staff and property. The role covers day, evening, and overnight shifts with weekend hours, performing patrols and responding to alarms and incidents.

Requirements include a High School diploma, Ontario Security Guard License, Ontario G Driver's License, and First Aid/CPR/AED training. Prior security or military experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess an Ontario Security Guard License.
• Must possess an Ontario G Driver's License.
• Must be 19 years of age.
• Experience in security/police/military is an asset.
• Successful completion of First Aid/CPR/AED training.

Responsibilities

• Performs regular foot and mobile security patrols indoors and outdoors.
• Provides security and/or cash escorts to late night employees.
• Responds to fire and intrusion alarms.
• Responds to noise complaints and trespassers per provincial statutes and SOPs.
• Provides First Aid/CPR/AED when required.
• Documents incidents in security log and assists with parking issues per SOPs.

HOURLY RATE-$21.69

PART TIME HOURS: 8pm-4am Friday and Saturday nights

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

This position is responsible for the safety and security of all guests, staff and property of the resort during the days, evenings and overnight. The Security Agent will participate in foot and vehicle patrols to survey the entire resort regularly for appropriate controls over; noise, property damage, alarm responses, trespassing, Crisis intervention and First Aid calls etc.

• Performs regular foot and mobile security patrols both indoors and outdoors (all seasons in all types of weather).
• Provides physical security and/or cash escorts to late night employees
• Responds to fire and intrusion alarms
• Responds to all noise complaints and disruptive behaviour issues notices and deal with trespassers in accordance with Provincial statues and SOPs
• Provides First Aid/CPR/AED when required
• Documents all incidents in the security log Solves parking issues in accordance with Municipal By-Law and SOPs

WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM ME?

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be in possession of a valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Must be in possession of a valid Ontario G Driver's License.
• Must be 19 years of age
• Previous Security, Police and/or military experience is an asset
• Successful completion of First Aid/CPR/AED training
