What is the opportunity?
This role is for the technology lead for Securities Reference Data Repository (SRDR) platform. The SRDR team manages Securities reference data for Capital markets and beyond. The platform has expanded tremendously in its offerings, coverage, and adoption. The primary responsibilities of this role are to design and manage the current platform, vendor product upgrade, technology stack, book of work pipeline and stakeholders management. The position requires good knowledge of an enterprise reference data system architecture, data acumen and sound knowledge of data distribution strategy around Securities reference data. The role will provide opportunity to work closely with Architecture team and various FO/BO technology leaders in New York, Toronto, London, and India.
What will you do?
Drive Securities data platform technology architecture and strategy
Manage platform for BAU enhancements and strategic program engagement.
Manage platform maintenance (Tech currency, Vulnerability management).
Champion in platform offerings to guide new consumer onboarding.
Coordinate new enhancement assessment, estimation and execution.
Proactively manage platform stability and production issues remediation
Manage development team, vendors and stakeholder co-ordination.
Drive periodic major platform upgrades.
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
Strong technology leadership experience in capital markets in managing medium size team.
Solid experience in various aspects and challenges of Securities data management, data integration and lifecycle management.
Experience with various vendor feeds (like Bloomberg back office/per-security, LSEG Reuters, Intex, Exegy etc.) and data distribution around this data.
10+ years of experience in managing technology & software engineering projects involving Java, Webservices, Kubernetes, Docker, SQL, Hadoop & Spark.
Solid understanding of data management principles, data quality & data governance frameworks.
Ability to build & maintain partnerships with stakeholders for platform enhancements & adoption.
Nice to Have
Proficiency in data management tools, databases, event driven systems & modeling techniques.
Good understanding of the agile development process & DevOps practices.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, & decision-making skills.
Good experience in managing Tech currency with Static code analyzers – NexusIQ, DAST, Sonar, Checkmarx, etc.
