Fleetwood Metal Industries, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping, Tillsonburg, Ontario, is seeking a Section Manager Tooling to direct tool and die shop operations. You will lead tooling activities, review designs for manufacture, and work with die suppliers to improve reliability while driving productivity, quality, and safety in a 3-shift environment.

The role requires a Tool and Die Making qualification with 5+ years in cold stamping (progressive/transfer dies) and preferred 10

• Manage the daily operations of the tool and die shop, including die repair, maintenance, and scheduling of a 3 shift production operation.
• Provide leadership to teams ensuring tooling activities are trained and qualified to perform them.
• Select optimum tool layouts, press size and vendor; review final design for manufacture.
• Be responsible for tooling capability until production release; work with die suppliers to improve out of the box reliability.
• Report die shop KPI at daily production meetings and monthly/annual plans.

The Section Manager Tooling is responsible for the planning, organizing, directing and management of the tooling function to ensure production goals are met adequately and in a timely manner.
