Job summary

Blue Mountain Resort Company is seeking seasonal grounds maintenance staff to uphold pristine grounds across the resort. The role includes general maintenance, landscaping, and waste management, with a focus on safety and guest experience.

The position features a 5:00AM–2:00PM shift, Monday to Friday, with wage at $19.52 per hour. Prior snow removal and resort knowledge are assets for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Valid Class G Driver’s License is an asset.
• High school or equivalent education preferred.
• Must be physically fit; able to lift and carry heavy materials and perform repetitive tasks (shoveling, bending, stretching, walking, kneeling).
• Experience with snow removal is an asset.
• Knowledge of the Resort is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintains grounds on resort to high standards (general maintenance, landscaping, waste management).
• Performs snow removal on Blue Mountain Resort property and affiliated properties (shovels/snow blowers, ice melt/sand).
• Conducts ice patrols and assesses hazards for guest and staff safety; monitors SOS Bin levels.
• Records detailed activity notes and material applications during shift.
