Arterra Wines Canada is seeking Vineyard Workers for seasonal full-time positions at our Oliver and Osoyoos vineyards in British Columbia. The roles involve hands-on vine care, canopy and fruit management, and harvest duties across weather conditions.

The positions require physical fitness, willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime, and the ability to stand for long periods. English is required; Spanish is an asset, and training will be provided.

Qualificações

• No education requirement; training will be provided.
• Experience an asset but not required.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Availability for early morning, evening, on-call, weekend and overtime shifts.
• Stand for extended periods, bend, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs, navigate uneven terrain.

Responsabilidades

• Vineyard management: pruning, tying, planting, watering, training vines, suckering, shoot thinning, weed control.
• Canopy management: tucking, hedging, leaf removal, moving catch wire.
• Fruit management: bird, pest, disease control, fruit thinning.
• Harvest: loading bins, harvesting fruit, cane cutting, repairing bins.
• Vineyard and trellis maintenance: post, anchor and wire repair, rock removal, hole filling, headland upkeep, operating vineyard equipment.
• General manual vineyard labor; may operate specialized equipment; irrigation work; data collection.
