Job summary

Kal Tire in Fort St. John, BC is seeking a Tire Technician for a temporary, full-time/part-time role. You will install, remove, rotate, balance, and repair tires and help maintain a safe, efficient shop.

You'll work as part of a supportive team, receive hands-on training, and follow safety procedures. The position runs for the contract duration with weekend shifts possible and opportunities to gain experience in the automotive industry.

Qualifications

• Previous tire technician or automotive experience or training preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs repeatedly and stay active.

Responsibilities

• Install, remove, rotate, balance, and repair tires.
• Safely operate tire service equipment and tools.
• Inspect tires and vehicles to identify required services.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and use PPE at all times.
• Support the team to keep workflow efficient and on schedule.
