Job summary

Red Mountain Snow School is hiring Level 3/4 Ski Trainer and Instructor for the 2025/26 winter season. Roles include delivering safe, engaging lessons to all ages, running GAP training, and supporting staff development. Flexible 2-5 days per week with weekend shifts, you’ll join a team committed to fun, safety, and professional guest service.

Candidates should hold CSIA Level 3 or equivalent, and be prepared for outside teaching in all weather. Seasonal bonuses and certifications are assets.

Qualifications

• Be flexible and prepared to work 2-5 days a week including weekends.
• Be polite, patient, understanding, and have a positive attitude.
• Be enthusiastic and comfortable teaching children 3 years old +.
• Meet minimum physical requirements including lifting and chair lift loading/unloading.
• Work outside in all weather conditions.
• Commit to all season-long GAP year programs as assigned.
• Be punctual, reliable and professional.
• Hold minimum Level 3 CSIA or equivalent qualifications.
• Dual certifications in ski and snowboarding are assets.
• Park certification, CADs' certification, or Certified Course Conductor are assets.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, engaging and high-quality ski/snowboard lessons to guests of all ages and abilities.
• Provide exceptional guest service, ensuring a positive experience for each student.
• Attend required morning meetings and training sessions.
• Arrive in a timely manner for daily lessons, ready to teach.
• Assess student progress and offer constructive, encouraging feedback.
• Debriefing clients/parents in a positive and professional manner.
• Administrative, cleaning, or office duties may be required.
• Represent Red Mountain Snow School in a positive and professional manner.
• GAP Training Program participation and delivery.
