Pursuit is hiring for a full-time seasonal role in Fall/Winter 2026 in Canada. The starting wage is $15.50/hour. You will deliver courteous service, answer questions about the restaurant and surroundings, and guide guests using basic wine knowledge for pairings and sweetness levels.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of serving experience
• Able to lift at least 15 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Able to answer questions about surroundings, menu and restaurant
• Pro-serve qualifications
• Appropriately groomed and willing to adhere to the restaurant grooming policy
• Customer service oriented with a positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous service to all guests
• Answer questions about surroundings, menu, and restaurant
• Demonstrate basic wine knowledge and guide guests on food pairings and sweetness levels
• Complete all training programs
• Manage a full section
• Keep all areas clean and orderly
• Ensure stockrooms and storage are neat and organized
• Manage cash and float security during operating hours
• Administer your own cash floats daily
